Hybrid I'm looking at is the Trek dual sport 2, I currently ride an X-cal7 but I want a bike mainly for quicker commuting and getting around quicker than the X-calibre. I also want the front suspension for the extra comfort on these British roads but also for the really odd off roads when I feel like a bit of adventuring. Also thinking instead of just riding the same routes all the time I'll earn a bit of extra money delivering too so I'd also end up using the dual sport for this. Would this be worth it?

I'll be vacationing in Bentonville, AR next week. I'm taking my bike and my camera and I'm looking for places to ride. I'm into bike touring, never MTB-ed, so roads and flat-ish trails would be best. Photogenic is a must. Anywhere in the 10-40 mile range, either out 'n' back or a loop would be great. Where should I go?

Hello, Please help me understand gearing ratios. I've been doing a lot of hills on my mountain bike, and I've been able to pull it off fairly successfully. Gearing on the MTB is a 1x setup, with 32T up front with 10-50T in the rear. Gearing on my gravel bike is a 2x setup, with 30/46T chainrings and a 11-34 cassette. The same hills (whether paved or unpaved) are more difficult in the gravel bike than in the mountain bike. What do I need to do (aside from more uphill riding) to make it up those same hills in the gravel bike? Can I stay with a 2x setup on the gravel bike and change the cassette so that it's less of a challenge? I'd rather not go with some sort of mtb/road 1x setup on the gravel bike as I do also use it for road riding and I'd like to be able to keep up with my riding buddies without spinning out. Thanks in advance!

Sooo, I have a ''trash'' bike that I bought for a stationary bike setup for ZWIFT. However I recently sold my zwift setup and kept the bike for going to the mall and stuff. Now, I don't like the racing handlebars for riding outside. I want to change them for a normal city handlebar or MTB-handlebar. However I have no idea what the demensions are (I searched google as well) or what they mean. I also don't know if the handlebar stem is the right stem for another handlebar? Maybe it's only for racing handlebars? No idea. I'm a noob in this field. https://preview.redd.it/sxfxnccul6ab1.png?width=904&format=png&auto=webp&v=enabled&s=6b6576a31471a150faa6eb0ba842b777b8d054ee (It's the version with disc brakes and I have size 'M' if that matters.) Hey redditors! I usually drive MTBs, I happily own a Kona Lava Dome, but lately, purely out of convenience, I'm lookin for lightweight bikes, so I can more easily, and daily, take it up and down the stairs, and drive in the city. I don't particularly want a road one, but rather the so called "hybrid" or "gravel". My MTB is around 14kg, so I'm looking for something around, or less, than 10kg. Regarding budget, well, I know it may be expensive, but less than 1k would be ideal. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!!

I'm old enough to see them coming and going - BMX, MTBs, fixies, Gravel, MTBs (again)...and so it goes on. I wonder what the next bike trend will be that will be embraced by hipsters???
