Registration opened today. I've never done it before, but I'm gonna do it this year. Has anyone done it before? What's the vibe? Do people ride fast? Is it really crowded? Has anyone done VIP? VIP costs $400 vs $100something for regular. My hunch is that VIP gets you a less crowded ride in "wave 1" (?) Or maybe "wave 1" is just as crowded as all other waves, but you get the certainty of a defined start time? Any insight you can offer would be appreciated 🙂

Hi kind strangers ! Myself and a friend are in Bangkok right now. We have been backpacking for the last 3 months but would like to make our trip a cycling adventure from now on ! We need a starting point though, hence my question : Do any of you know a good way of getting the stuff we need directly from here ? Maybe any swapping/resell communities around Thailand, Cambodia or Laos ? Like for instance a website/FB group etc... Thank you if you have any input on that ! We would love to hop on a bike and move on but there's quite a few things to do and we don't really now how/where to start :) Enjoy your travels !

Suggest a low-cost all-road touring/gravel bike

I have been using a Triban RC 500 with 35mm Maxxis tyres. Everything else is stock. However, longer rides (200+ km) becomes uncomfortable. The bike feels slow and heavy on longer rides, but is great for shorter rides and races. I am presently looking for something that is both comfortable for longer rides and is fast in urban scenarios. At the top of my list is Marin Lombard 1. However, I am also looking at Marin Four Corners and Merida Silex 200.

A decent entry level touring bike

Been riding a cinelli gazetta single speed, it's great for my commute to work through the city, but I want something as well that will carry a little luggage up a hill or over a long distance. I'm uneducated with bikes and the cinelli was a fluke on ebay, I've been looking at the raleigh pioneer which is very affordable, but I'm not sure they still hold the reputation that the vintage ones do, so I'm not confident about the quality. Any suggestions or advice will be very much welcome!

Hi, I’m having an hard time installing the hitch adapter on my partner’s bike. Due to the dropout style I had to use the “dropout adapter”, a 10 mm spacer to get a “flat” area against which the hitch will seat. Now with this 10 mm spacer the 185 mm quick release axle is not long enough 😱 Thule is suggesting to use 200mm long QR axle, but I can’t find anywhere online (Europe/Italy)… does this kind o QR exist? Like for fat bikes?? Any other possible solutions? Thanks
