First off this whole covid thing sucks and I hope everyone is both safe and being safe. The last couple weeks I have been steadily enjoying my commute to work more and more. The fact that I see maybe a half dozen cars on the road has really allowed me to play around with my route a lot. I can now take roads that normally were too busy to really take under normal circumstances. Another aspect I enjoy is seeing more and more people riding their bikes and going for walks with their families. many of these people are walking right down the streets because it is easier to keep distance from others and because there is little to no worry about traffic. It makes me wonder if after this is all over that there will be an increase in people using their bikes again to do a lot of their running around and commuting. I also wonder if more people will be taking up hiking, running and walking for more than a couple blocks. I know it will probably go back to what it was but it would be kind of sad to see things return to how they were in that aspect of life.
