I ride approx 8 hours per week on 25mm Conti GP5000 clinchers. I ride them at about 70-80psi and the last puncture I had was probably 2 or 3 years ago. I know people say you can ride them at lower PSI and they're more comfortable etc but is it really worth messing around with sealant etc for the extra benefit? FYI I am an awful mechanic so would probably have to get them fitted at LBS.

We did 30 miles road today and he cycled literal circles around me while I panted like a dog and died a bit on the inside. Ngl it’s frustrating to watch someone fly by you with way less exertion 😂 There’s probably a way to outfit the bike for roads, but I’d rather just invest in another bike lol.

Moin ihr Verrückten. Ich fahre ja gern Rad, aber seit Jahren gehen mir meine tränenden Augen beim Radfahren im Winter gehörig auf den Senkel. Erste Abhilfe war die Brille im Brillenetui zu lassen – keine schöne Lösung, bei mir dankenswerterweise möglich dank nur geringen Korrekturgläsern; Autofahren darf ich auch ohne, aber schöner wärs natürlich mit. Zweiter Versuch: durchsichtige Sportbrille: hilft etwas, Augen tränen aber immernoch mit dem zusätzlich schönen Effekt, dass ich nun nicht mehr an die Augen komme, um die Tränen wegzuwischen; dafür werden dann die Ampelstopps genutzt. Mit Mund-Nasen-Schal/Überzug etc um die kalte Luft nicht tief in den Hals gepresst zu bekommen hab ich dann nur noch Dauernebel vor den Augen, also bleibt jedes Mal die Überlegung: Schal oder Brille? Was sind eure Methoden damit umzugehen? Ich bin mir sicher, dass es genug unter euch gibt, die da einfach nicht empfindlich sind, aber hoffentlich genug andere, denen es genauso geht und von denen ich hier noch etwas lernen kann. Bringen Helme mit Visier etwas? Der hohe Anschaffungspreis hat mich bisher noch von einem Versuch abgehalten. Helfen Kontaktlinsen?
