GP5000 or gatorskins?

Was looking to upgrade my tyres, GP5000's are on my radar but how good is the puncture resistance, will definitely be riding on glass shards. My cheapo decathlon tyres have around 3 punctures per 1000km. Usually bits of wire, had a double puncture the time before, both from wire. I'll also be riding in poor roads stuff like cobbles, packed dirt and demonic roads for recreation, but very infrequently, twice or thrice per month. I don't mind having 3 punctures per 1000kms granted the tires feel better and are grippy. PS looking at 25-28mm
