Ich möchte einfach kurz Danke sagen. In den letzten Wochen habe ich durch Fragerei und Recherche in diesem Sub viel über Fahrräder gelernt und meinen Kauf davon beeinflussen lassen. Ohne euch hätte ich wahrscheinlich total am Bedarf vorbei gekauft. Ich konnte soeben mein Stevens Strada 800 Tour abholen und bin sehr glücklich.

On last night's group ride, there was another mechanical related to Di2. Di2 bikes make up the majority in the group at this point, and this is literally happening weekly now. Either someone looses shifting and limps home on their own, or worse, like last night, they brought a spare battery, and we all have to stop an watch them swap it out. Yes, I'm a luddite, and I think this wonderful upgrade everyone says is a 'revolutionary improvement!', 'you won't go back!' causes more issues than it solves. My mechanical shifting is precise and smooth, and it will never fail due to a dead battery.

I made an online calculator to predict the time it will take to complete Alpe du Zwift based upon your w/kg. I see the question of w/kg and AdZ completion time pop up quite a lot and thought I'd do my best to help people in their endeavour to complete Alpe du Zwift in a set time! I'm far from an expert in statistics, so this isn't perfect but here's how I approached the data: I took the historic completion times, along with the w/kg of the riders for over 1,200 rides, and plotted them in Excel to establish a trend. Using this trend line I created a formula that predicts the completion time based on a combination of weight and power. I then compared the output of this formula against the actual completion times and adjusted the formula so that I could provide a confidence level in the estimated completion time. I fed this data into a basic form tool in Wordpress and stuck it all into a webpage for ease of use by all. I hope this helps people :) https://alpeduzwift.com

Hey liebe Rad-Gemeinde, ich bräuchte mal Hilfe bei der Auswahlfindung von Fahrrad oder Rennrad-Schuhen in der Schuhgröße 49 (gern auch große Weite). Ich habe paar Shimano gehabt (bisschen her was die Größe der Schuhe und meine Füße betrifft - da gewachsen) ich habe mir jetzt paar Adidas bestellt gehabt in der 49 2/3 und dachte die wollen mich veralbern, die war gemessen ne Größe 47. Vielleicht sind hier ja auch große Füße vertreten und können mir einen Tipp geben - Danke :) Ps: Klicksystem ist erstmal nicht soo wichtig, vorhanden wäre SPD
