2. Anwalt einschalten? Sie hat keine RS. Müsste sie die Anwaltskosten tragen? Besten Dank!

A few quick obvious observations on an event that hasn't taken place for a couple of decades. (EDIT: Sorry for not specifying earlier, but this is a stretch of highway between the cities of Los Angeles, California and Pasadena that is, normally, exclusive to cars) 1. It was packed. There *is* an appetite for streets to belong to people over cars. 2. On a road without obstruction, commuting from Pasadena to Downtown would take less time than the average daily commute by car. 3. If the number of people that were on bikes and foot were all in separate cars this morning on the 110, it would be a solid bumper-to-bumper parking lot traffic jam that would last hours and hours to clear. There were *tens of thousands* out there on the freeway today. We *have* to be more visionary about what we can do with our streets and stop saying it isn't possible. It *is* possible. It's just hard to conceive while we're all in our cars.

I've been cycling for a handful of years now and saddle sores have been a consistent struggle until the beginning of this year. I used to get lots of big sores that would be very painful and take me off the bike to recover. When searching for help on this issue, it's very common to find the recommendation of getting a bike fit, finding a good saddle and one that is the right width, and getting the right bibs. These will definitely play a role in saddle comfort and are something that is worth experimenting with. However, this is not the only cause of saddle sores and is something that you need to experiment with over time before finding what works best for you (my current favorite is the wtb volt. I'm using it on my mtb, gravel, and trainer bike. This is very personal though so YMMV). What is not talked about as much is hygiene. I have found a lot of success by using a few simple tools before and after rides. I think the biggest key is to shower after rides using dial antibacterial bar soap by using an ample amount of soap on the saddle region. Reducing the amount of bacteria is the key here and the dial bar soap does a great job. Next, if you aren't showering before the ride, it is good to clean up the saddle region before getting on the bike. The best/easiest way I've found to do this is using iodine prep pads on typical problem areas (can be found in boxes on Amazon pretty cheap). If you do end up with some saddle discomfort after a ride, Desitin is a good thing to apply. For a full on saddle sore, bacitracin is what I would use to help clear things up. Lastly, whenever going #2, I like using a baby wipe after you're done using regular toilet paper. You'll be surprised at how much cleaner you can get. After implementing all these hygiene strategies, I no longer struggle much with getting saddle sores even on my longest rides. Hope this helps. TLDR: Dial antibacterial bar soap used after riding on saddle region, iodine prep pads clean saddle region before a ride, desitin after a ride if there is any soreness or discomfort, bacitracin if you get an actual saddle sore

I'm 22 and I've never rode on a 2 wheel bicycle before. The only ones I've ever rode as a child was the one with the extra wheels. Recently purchased a 26" inch mountain bike as I was determined to learn. I'm 5'1 in height but later learned that it was too tall for me and can barely touch the ground even when I'm not on the seat. My dad later cut off about 2 inches of the seat's rod for me so that i can get on. Day 1 of learning with my dad guiding me didn't really get me anywhere as I kept putting my feet down after turning the pedal once and I couldn't seem to balance myself at all. My body also kept bending towards the right and I was rigid as hell. I wasn't able to ride for a single metre without putting my feet down and I couldn't ride in a straight line and my dad was holding my seat so tight because I kept falling over. I also fell and bruised my knee and my forehead. Day 2 of learning with my dad, this time I got somewhere a little. I was able to ride in a straight line from the back of the badminton court and to the front without falling but my body still kept bending. My dad later on told me that he was just touching the bike's seat and didn't really hold it tight. But every time I try to cycle without my dad by my side, I couldn't make it a single metre at all. I tried to let myself loose and just look ahead and cycle but the fear of falling is holding me back. Thoughts on how I did? What should I be doing to improve on it? I really want to learn 🫠

Was nutzt ihr so? Auf dem Gravel LRS sind Schwalbe G-One Bite/ Conti Terra Speed X drauf. Danke euch vorab!
