Just sold all my bikes

I'm moving long distance for a new well paying job. After living car-free as a college student, I've sold my bikes to help pay for a down payment on a car, and to have an emergency fund as I'm kind of broke until my first paycheck. I bought most of these when I worked in a bike shop and had access to amazing shop discounts. My fleet was: - A shitty 26er steel mtb from the 80s that I learned how to MTB on when I first started college few years ago. Even though it was old I treated it well, even powdercoated the frame few years back. - Surly Karate Monkey tourer, the first frame-up build I did where I built the wheels myself, installed everything. I took this thing bikepacking, and long distance riding for thousands and thousands of cumulative miles. - Scott Addict 10 disc, the first carbon frame roadie I ever had, this helped me get into actually racing. - Trek Boone 5 disc, my first CX bike. Isospeed is amazing and I took this thing on light singletrack even. All these bikes went to new owners who were super stoked to have them, and it was ultimately necessary to help start a new chapter in my life were I won't be living paycheck to paycheck. My goal now is that once I'm settled in, I'll save for a few months and then splurge on a brand new roadie better than any of the ones I've sold. I've always wanted a Madone SLR, it'll most likely be that. Just getting it off my chest, it really stung to sell the last of them off today.
