Nerd Alert podcast: The CEO of SRAM gives us the lowdown on the supply chain If you’ve tried to buy anything bike-related over the last couple of years, you’ve undoubtedly noticed that no one has anything in stock — like, ANYTHING. But why is that? Has the pandemic really disrupted global production that much on the supply side, or is it that so many more people are trying to buy stuff on the...

I got my booster jab Wednesday last week and not trained since. Felt totally fine compared to the 2nd dose too. Decided to do an hour indoors today and my heart rate is through the roof. 160bpm after 25 minutes ~200watts had to call it quits as something just didn't feel right. I didn't feel weak, in fact my legs felt really good and had to contain myself to stay under 200. The only thing different between now and before Christmas was the booster. A quick Google suggests the Pfizer can do this (which is the one I had) Just wondering if anyone noticed the same and how long it could last? Edit: Thanks for the responses - Probably give it a few more days before I consider training again.

There are a couple of dogs outside my apartment and whenever I start cycling early morning, they start barking and running after me, one day, I just saved myself from getting bitten. How should I go about tackling them? Also whenever someone gives them a little food, the next time that person comes across them, the dogs pounce on him.

Hi everyone . I was wondering when you guys thinks is a good moment to join a cycling club. My friends are not into road cycling or don't live around. I have been cycling for 6 years but the winter weather is just putting me down and it has been difficult to push myself outdoors. I think new and motivated people would be that extra needed but I never pictured myself getting into a cycling club. I do not wear cycling kits(only cycling shoes and helmet, obviously) and I think that would play negative on me with the club etiquette. Any other suggestions on how to push myself? I do roller miles every weekend but I don't love it. It feels like using a treadmill in a gym looking at the park through the window if that makes sense... EDIT: Tanks guys for the replies and support. I think I'm gonna look for social ride clubs. I live in a big city and hopefully there is a "not too strict club" I can join.
