Looking to book a 5 to 7 day trip for my partners 30th. We cycle most weekend, have a moderate level of fitness. Happy to do up to 60/70km a day. So far seeing good deals with companies for Lake Constance. Has anyone ever done this bike trip before? If so was it with a tour company or booked privately? Or any other recommendations for cheapish cycle trips I'm Europe or tour companies to work with would be highly appreciated. EDIT: I haven't posted to reddit much and never before posted on r/cycling but I just want to say I am blown away by how helpful everyone is, what a lovely community! I just bought a top-end Cervelo and I am taking a trip to spain in a few weeks to meet some old friends. Should I bring my bike? I would absolutely love to ride in such a beautiful part of the world (I'm in Canada and the snow means I'm not taking my new toy out for a while) I can handle the reassembly of my bike once I get there and will get a hard travel case for it. My concerns are about theft or transporting it via airline. Aside from bringing 5 locks and 40lbs of chain, what do you do when travelling with your bike? I would not be going just to go cycling, so my bike will sit idle for at least half of my trip. Should I just bring my commuter bike that I'm not as worried about?

Womit schmiert ihr eure Kette und wie oft?

Hallo zusammen, meine Kette bräuchte mal wieder Öl und da ich mit meinem bisherigen Schmierstoff (WD 40 Specialist Bike Kettenspray für die die's interessiert) nicht zufrieden bin, wüsste ich gerne mal, welches Kettenöl o.ä. ihr mir empfehlen könnt. Sollte möglichst lokal erhältlich sein und (merklich) länger als fünf Tage (80 km) pro Schmierung halten. Danke für die Empfehlungen schonmal im Voraus!
