Got a free S-Works frame upgrade. Now what?

I ride a 2021 roubaix sport which I really like. I am a good rider but not much more. I don’t do races I mostly compete against myself. A couple of weeks ago I noticed my frame had a pretty serious break for no apparent reason. I’ve never crashed the bike or even laid it on its side. I went through the warranty process with Specialized and they agreed. Two weeks later they sent me a top of the line S-Works frame since they did not have any other roubaix frames in my size (61). Now I am trying to figure out what to do with this Frankenstein bike. Do I sell it, pocket the difference and then buy a new roubaix sport? Do I build out the bike and take advantage of this free upgrade? I don’t want to be that guy who is not a great rider with a 10k S-Works bike. What would you do?

This is my first “adult” bike and my gift to myself for completing my masters. I went with State because I heard they’re great value for the money. My bike has ~40 miles on it, and I’ve had to stop really often to retighten the saddle, it would slip and jam the front into me. I took it apart and the teeth are totally stripped out - it was initially torqued to spec and I carry self-recovery tools with me, even wrenching it down tight won’t help anymore and I have hover over the seat and barely rest right in the middle Today I rode about 5 miles and my left pedal arm, initially meticulously assembled and torqued to spec came loose, I tightened it and right as I got home it came loose again. The chain randomly slips gears, the bike shop said it’s assembled correctly as far as they can tell. I really want to love this bike but I’m so disappointed in the quality so far, barely worth $600 - even in 2022 inflation adjusted dollars. Can someone help me solve the issues with the seat and pedal arm? Any tips for enjoying my bike? Thanks! Hi everyone. For some reason, possibly down to feeling a little depressed over the last two years, I haven't been out on my bike much. I don't know quite how to explain how I feel other than to say i just feel a bit nervous. Not nervous to crash, but just nervous to ride. 2 years ago I was in great shape and riding was my escape and a point of pride. I never felt better than when i was on my bike. I'm very annoyed at myself that I've let my fitness go completely and as silly as it sounds, knowing I'm not in good shape, the prospect of riding is less appealing. I don't know if this makes any sense to anyone. I know i should pull myself together and go ride but it's just difficult. Anyway, my question is, what would you guys advise as the best plan to get back in shape? I have a turbo trainer but I havent go any active subscriptions at the moment but am willing to start one up based on your advice. Trainer road, Zwift, SYSTM? Any specific programs within those apps that you guys recommend? I just wanna get back in shape and get the legs up and running again. Hopefully then i'll wanna get back on my bike. Thanks everyone.

Hallo zusammen, ich habe seit Weihnachten endlich mein neues Rennrad, ein Canyon Endurance, und habe gerade bei mehrstündigen Touren das Gefühl dass es noch viel Optimierungsbedarf an meiner Sitzposition gibt. Insbesondere beim Vorbau. Das Gefühl kommt im Grunde hauptsächlich von auftretenden Symptomen wie manchmal kribbeln in den Händen, schmerzen in den Ellenbogen / Nacken. Auch habe ich das Gefühl dass mein Sattel nicht optimal für mich ist. Da ich am liebsten lange Strecken fahre (150km+) ist mir hier wichtig dass der Komfort nicht nach den ersten 60-70km zu ende ist. Ich schraube gerne selber viel am Rad, habe aber bei jeder Verstellung das Gefühl, dass es dann an anderer Stelle nicht mehr so ganz passt, daher kam die Idee mal einen Profi drauf schauen zu lassen. Ich bin schon immer viel und auch lange Fahrrad gefahren, allerdings ausschließlich auf meinem Trekkingrad. Meine Frage ist ob es Sinn macht so früh schon über ein professionelles Bikefitting nachzudenken oder sich der Körper erst noch mehr an die Position gewöhnen muss. Hat jemand grundsätzlich Erfahrung mit Bikefittings, worauf müsste ich dabei achten? &#x200B; Danke schonmal für eure Antworten!
