2h vor Radtour wurde mir mein Fahrrad gestohlen

Mein Cube SL Road Race, welches ich ewig lange mit viel Geld präpariert habe um damit ein paar nice Touren hinzulegen, wurde mir gestern geklaut. Habs gestern mittags aus'm abgeschlossenen Keller geholt, dann kurz noch zwei Sachen daran erledigt, um es dann gegen 16 Uhr in den Innenhof zu stellen. Dieser verfluchte Innenhof ist nicht richtig einsehbar und nicht ohne Schlüssel für das Wohnhaus begehbar. Wollte oben noch kurz was essen und meine Taschen packen. Dabei stand das Fahrrad direkt unter dem offenen Flurfenster und damit nur ein paar Meter Luftline von mir entfernt. Zwischendurch schaute ich noch aus dem Fenster und konnte mein Bike sehen. Also Taschen fertig gepackt und dann runter um das Bike zu beladen, weil mein Zug kommt ja gleich schon. Dann der große Schock.... Das kann doch jetzt nicht wahr sein. Es ist weg. Geklaut samt Rahmentasche, Werkzeug SKS Schutzbleche, diversen Halterungen, neuem Rücklicht, Luftpumpe und allen Spanngurten. Mit dem Gedanken, dass es gerade eben passiert sein muss, bin ich schnell mit dem Auto die Nachbarschaft abgefahren und im Anschluss zur Polizei. Von der Anzeige erhoffe ich mir nicht viel. Finde momentan auch keine Rahmennummer was das ganze noch nerviger macht. Meine Zug habe ich auch verpasst... Jetzt sitze ich 12h Stunden später im nächsten Zug und habe mein Trashbike dabei, welches mir eigentlich viel zu hoch ist. Musste das Dingen gestern Abend und heute morgen auch noch etwas umbauen, weil es sonst nicht fahrtüchtig gewesen wäre. Hatte erst geplant mit meinem Cyclocrosser zu fahren aber die Haltung würde mich nach 700 km umbringen. Nur knapp 1000 km Touren und viele Ausflüge hat das Cube in dem einen Jahr mit mir erlebt. 500 Euro für ein gebrauchtes Bike waren viel Geld für mich und ich dachte ich gönne mir Mal was. Jetzt ist das Bike weg und der Urlaub versaut und ich bin so unglaublich enttäuscht. Ich werde mein nächstes Bike nie wieder nicht abschließen. Auch nicht wenn es nur 2 min sind. Über eine Versicherung denke ich auch nach. Dachte aber immer es würde nur Sinn machen, wenn dein Bike 3000€ kostet.

I ring my bell when other bikers seem to be swerving from one lane to the other while I’m trying past them. Or if I’m unsure if the person will turn without looking back. Or just for my safety and theirs as well out of courtesy. But lately I’ve been getting people saying comments like “was that necessary” which I just nod and bike past. Or sometimes they would ring their quiet bell back at me. To be fair my bell is pretty loud but still so am I being an ass or are people just becoming easily more annoyed?

A few months ago in my small town a kid my age (19) got killed by a drunk driver while he was riding home on his bike. He loved cycling and his mom is a colleague of my mom. She wants to give it to me in honor of her son so that the bike keeps going. It has minor damages from the crash i can fix easily. I was thinking of fixing it and giving it back but she refuses because it takes up space and gives her bad memories. I don’t know how to feel about this and what to do about it. Its an awesome retro bike that i could sell for some good money. But i won’t sell it for sure. Just the thought of it that a guy got killed on it doesn’t feel right to me. It got me on edge about like “what if its cursed…” idk maybe im just tripping
