Is this grounds for divorce? Hahaha. After 26 yrs of marriage she tells me bib shorts are gross 😲. We were watching Physical 100 on Netflix last night and she commented that wrestling tights on men are gross. (Some of the contestants were wrestlers.) She then tells me that my bib shorts without the jersey are gross too. What's up with that? How come she never mentioned that 30yrs ago when we were first dating in university? Obviously she didn't stay cuz cycling attire. But she did use to say that she was marrying me for my income potential. 🤣🤣🤣 Edit: Thanks for the many hilarious comments. And just so that you know, no, I don't walk around without my jersey off in the public. Jerseyless only at home whilst getting changed or on the trainer.

Typing with 1 hand and feeding child with the other. Forgive typos etc. As above, need cycling-folk opinions as opinions seemingly divided. Small-ish roundabout. 2 lanes on road entering roundabout. Exits are: road, dipped curb area to enter into park then 2 more roads. I'm going straight ahead to park. I stop in centre-right of left the hand lane. No cars behind me when i looked twice. I have light, helmet, its daylight. Have to wait for car to exit roundabout, then off I go. I've moved about 3metres when a car hits me from my right side. They've entered the roundabout bedhind me in the right hand lane and are trying to take the first exit so obviously they knock me off. There may or may not be CCTV. No update from police who are being uncommunicative. 5houghts/ opinions? What did I do wrong? EDIT: thanks for all comments. To clarify few bits and ask a bit more. The police didn't attend, the driver stopped, my witness ( have their details) managed to get their number plate and I managed to wrestle their phone number out of them. The roundabout doesn't have any signage saying which lane you should be in for what. All other exits only have 1 lane if that makes a difference. Have applied for CCTV. I have insurance, it was the man from insurance Co who made me doubt myself. He said he'd read the highway code and get back to me. Terrifying. Thanks to the person who said glad I'm "ok" but if by that you mean "alive" it's quite a low bar for UK cyclists to strive for! I can't work for >6 weeks, drive, look after my children(cycle...!) This junction is at a goodness knows how expensive council cycling route vanity project that has had who know how many incidents. Considering an FOI request once this is over. One point in the highway code I don't understand is that of signalling - I didn't signal when sitting in the lane waiting as no one behind me. When I was hit I'd only been cycling a few metres so was still building up speed, both hands on handlebars. And didn't have a chance to signal left yet as hadn't gone past exit 1 yet. Would anyone have signalled right? At what point?

Moin. Ich habe heute direkt vor meinem Haus einen Fahrraddiebstahl erlebt – und natürlich sofort die Polizei gerufen. Der Dieb hatte eine Akku-Flex und hat ein Rennrad geklaut – ein schönes schwarzes Gerät mit grünem Hornlenker. Ich dachte schon, wer flext denn an einem Sonntag Mittag in meiner Straße herum. Dann habe ich aus meinem Fenster geschaut und war total verdutzt. Dann habe ich die Polizei gerufen, die mit vier Streifenwagen kam und ihn direkt gejagt hat – der Dieb ist zwischendrin, während ich die Polizei am Telefon hatte, mit dem Fahrrad weggefahren. Andere Passanten haben ein gutes Foto von ihm gemacht, er hatte leider eine Kapuzenjacke an und eine Maske auf, und dass da Leute ein Bild machten hat ihn gar nicht weiter gestört. Er hat sich weiter eilig umgesehen und ist so schnell wie möglich abgehauen. Leider war ich nicht geistesgegenwärtig genug hinunter zu laufen und zu versuchen, ihn aufzuhalten. Oder zum Glück, wer weiß, was dann passiert wäre. Das ist alles so schnell gegangen… Die Polizei kam auch innerhalb von 3 Minuten, aber der war schon über alle Berge. Weird.

​ ​ Most of the higher quality bikes and accessories are made in Central Taiwan and then exported. Cheaper ones are made in China. Whole Bikes 1. The only bike brands I have seen that actually operate their own factories are Giant and Merida, they both make their higher quality bikes in Taiwan. 2. All of the other brands outsource almost everything including frame manufacturing. Most of the race team bikes are made in Taiwan too. 3. Brands like Specialized, BMC, Cervelo, Scott and anyone else you can think of don't make anything themselves, they only do design. Most of the bikes from these brands are made in the same factories and assembly companies as their competitors. Factor Road Bikes is an Exception and unusual in having their own factory despite being a relatively small brand. Accessories 1. There are only a few brands that have their own factories. they design and manufacture their own products. You can find out who they are by going to google Maps in Taiwan and then looking for the manufacturer website for the brand name. If you find it then you know they make stuff themselves. 2. They also make products for all of the big brands like Specialized, Trek, Topeak, ProBike etc. If you see similar accessories, buy the cheapest one as they are all from the same factory and generally not designed by the brand any way other than to change some colors. FYI this applies to many "Brand" products on Amazon. Eg RadioShack. They don't make anything they just import it. ​ Hope this is useful.
