Almost died. How to signal "don't pass me"?

How do you signal to the car behind you that it's not safe to pass? I've done over 12,000 miles of cycling on pedestrian paths in the past two years, but I just started cycling on roads last week. Tonight, a woman in her convertible passed me on a corner with oncoming traffic in the other lane, then almost drove me off the road. I frequently check behind, so I knew she was coming up. I saw the car coming towards me in the other lane, so I rode in the center of our lane to discourage her from passing me. Then, when I heard her getting really close, I looked back and stuck out my left hand in an attempt to tell her it wasn't safe to pass (like a left turn signal, but angled downward). She passed anyways, so I moved over to the right as far as I could. She almost hit the oncoming truck, then almost forced me off the road when she swerved back before speeding away. I know you should be a defensive rider, but there wasn't a ridable shoulder, and there are gravel ditches on both sides of the road, so I wasn't able to just move to the side. I ride around farmland, so there isn't a ton of traffic, but I want to be prepared if I'm in this situation again. The speed limit was 50 mph and I was going ~25 mph. Honestly, I'm not sure how she didn't see the oncoming car, but that doesn't matter. What would you have done? Edit: I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but some people are mentioning cyclist visibility. I had a flashing tail light, a rear solid red helmet light, and a flashing headlight. I wear a white helmet, and my jersey, rear rack bag, and bib shorts have reflective strips on them. Edit 2: I'm riding in the US (right side of the road)

Das Fahrrad sieht man erst, sobald man 20 Meter in die Einfahrt und um die Ecke läuft. Dennoch ist es jetzt schon 3 mal zu (versuchtem) Diebstahl gekommen. Das erste mal hatte ich Glück, da sich die Diebe richtig dumm angestellt und sich das Bike von der Polizei Streife haben abnehmen lassen. Beim zweiten mal hat meine Nachbarin die Diebe verscheucht. Leider ist es ihnen beim dritten mal jedoch gelungen und jetzt stehe ich ohne Fahrrad da. Im Leasing ist selbstverständlich eine Diebstahlversicherung inbegriffen die mich jetzt zum Glück abfängt und mir demnächst ein neues Bike hinstellt. Trotzdem mache ich mir Gedanken um die Zukunft. Das Fahrrad kann leider nur dort stehen wo es aktuell steht, ich kann es alleine weder in die Wohnung noch in den Keller bringen. Eine andere Option als die Einfahrt habe ich also leider nicht. Das Sicherheitsschloss scheint auch nicht zu reichen, wenn diese Leute genug Zeit und Equipment haben. GPS Tracker halte ich bei Profis für rausgeschmissenes Geld, da ich keine Möglichkeit sehe das Ding so anzubringen, dass sie davon nichts mitbekommen. Man könnte aber zumindest Wind davon bekommen, wenn sie es gerade mitnehmen wollen. Also frage ich mich, gibt es irgendwie eine Möglichkeit für mich Diebstähle in Zukunft vorzubeugen? Nur weil ich versichert bin, bin ich ja nicht automatisch ok damit wenn jemand meinen fahrbaren Untersatz klaut. Habt ihr vielleicht Erfahrungen mit diesen Alarmgesicherten Schlössern? Ich möchte ungern viel Geld ausgeben für etwas was am End leider nix bringt. Teilt gern eure Meinungen und Tipps mit mir. Dankeschön und LG TLDR: es machen Leute Auge auf mein tolles E-Bike, leider kann ichs nur in meiner Einfahrt anschließen und frage mich jetzt wie ich Diebstähle vorbeugen/erschweren/auffällig machen kann

Ich fahre ein Grail in 2XL, bin 198. Prinzipiell fühle ich mich wohl, aber auf langen Touren fängt Nacken/Schultern an zu schmerzen. Obendrein ist mir aufgefallen, dass es ausser von Canyon eigentlich kein Anbieter so große Rahmen für seine Rennrad/Gravel Rahmen anbietet. Das hat mich zur Vermutung verleitet, dass der Rahmen vielleicht für mich zu groß ist. Hintergrund: Ich fahre mehrere Jahrzehnte MTB und habe aufgrund meiner Erfahrungen mit der dortigen Geometrie zu 2XL gegriffen. Das war vielleicht ein dummer Fehler. Zur Info: selbst mein "1 Nummer kleiner" Enduro Rahmen ist noch viiiiiieeeel größer als der Rech/Stack vom Grail. Ich hab meine Daten mal grob in den Vfitting Rechner von [bike-stats.de](https://bike-stats.de) gehackt. Kann jemand mit den Daten was anfangen?
