Stranger chasing me and yelling “That’s my bike!”

I was riding my e-bike on a bike trail near my house today (The York Heritage Trail in PA) and I overheard someone murmur “Hey, that’s my bike”. They then started yelling “That’s my bike!” and chased me down the trail. I sped up and got the hell out of there, foreseeing some type of thief/scam situation. I was pissed. It’s a popular trail and it put me into an uncomfortable position. I legitimately purchased this bike new from the company’s website. It was not stolen. When this happened, I slightly remembered someone posting on Reddit with a similar situation, but I couldn’t remember the details. Is this some sort of scam?

Hi, wir haben Nachwuchs bekommen und ich brauche Schwarmwissen bezüglich Transport von Babies. Ich würde warten bis der kleine Mensch ca. drei Monate alt ist. Allerdings Frage ich mich, was die beste Lösung ist. Es gibt ja einiges an Hardware am Markt und Feedback einholen beim User ist relativ schwierig. Wie transportiert ihr Babies und ist das überhaupt eine gute Idee? Wir haben zwei Trekkingräder ( Kube und ein älteres) und ein Trek 920 Reiserad die für Transporte in Frage kommen. Den Kauf eines Lastenrads möchte ich vermeiden wenn möglich. Use Case wären Strecken unter 20km wie Ausflüge ins Grüne und typische Erledigungen mit Kindern (Arztbesuche usw.). Edit: Ästhetik und Kosten sind für mich eher zweitrangig. Komfort und Sicherheit sind mir wichtig.

It's taken 13 years, moving to a different continent, hard work, sacrifice, sweat, tears, dedication, dissapointments, victories, crashes, injuries, lessons.
