As a tall cyclist (6'4") I've had a difficult time finding kit that fits. Frustrated by piecing together information from different searches, forums, and folk wisdom, I've compiled this list of companies that make tall/long bib shorts and/or jerseys. None of this "I tried x company in y size and it worked for me!" stuff. That may be the case for you—which is great!—but this post is concerned with a*ctual long/tall sizes.* I only have personal experience with some of these brands, though I do plan on trying them all eventually. The information provided is based on what is available on their respective websites.
All of these companies make long/tall bib shorts, but not all make tall/long jerseys, and some may also make long/tall cycling shorts in addition to bib shorts. This is list is meant to point you in the right direction to find some brands and options that work for you based on your budget and what you're looking for in cycling apparel.
This list is mostly geared towards male cyclists; women's kit in tall is not something that I've been looking for because I am a man, but if you're a tall woman-identified rider and want to add to this, please do.

**On sizing:**
​
* Different bodies are different. Some people prefer a shorter inseam length, others may have longer legs or shorter torsos, despite being a similar height. Many tall riders find standard kit sizes works (or works well enough) for them. Nothing substitutes trying on a pair of bib shorts, whether they're tall/long sized, or not, and riding with a variety of brands to figure out what you prefer. However, of course not everyone has the ability to try on cycling apparel in person, or to try a variety of brands to see what works best.

* Taller cyclists are sometimes able to size-up to achieve a length fit that works for them, but there may be compromises based on strap material and elasticity, or loss of comparable compression. For example, a person who is typically size L, but sizes up to XL for inseam or strap length may lose some compression or have excess fabric to contend with during a ride. Depending on your body and preferences, this may or may not be an issue for you.

* In general, race/aero fit jerseys and bib shorts will likely fit tighter and typically shorter than club fit, which is more relaxed but still tailored. If you have not had luck with race fit, switching to a club fit or even relaxed fit jersey may give you a bit of additional room for fabric to drape. Some people may also simply prefer the fit of one style over another.

* Some of these brands offer lengthened straps and lengthened inseams, whereas others just add length to the inseam. Depending on your height, and the elasticity/material of the straps, this may or may not pose a problem for you. One way to tell if your straps are too short is if you find them digging into your shoulders, or if you find your bibs riding up in the crotch in a painful or uncomfortable way. Straps are meant to hold your bib shorts in place, not pull them up to your chest.

* My hope is that if you're a tall cyclist and you're looking for a pair of bib shorts or a jersey, something on this list will be more likely to fit well (particularly if you're shopping online) compared to another brand that happens to be cut longer, or simply a standard size. No matter what you choose, what matters is that you have a pair of bib shorts or a jersey that you're comfortable with!

* All said, if you have tried a variety of brands and find the inseam too short, or the straps digging into your shoulders, perhaps trying a pair of bib shorts in a genuine tall size will be the solution you've been looking for.

**In terms of pricing, these brands offer three general price points:**
​
* $ - ($75-$100 USD) Hill Killer and The Black Bibs offer great value here.
​
* $$ - ($125-250 USD). Aerotech Designs and Pactimo offer a variety of options at different price points, with the lone Endura option coming in at approx. $175 USD.
​
* $$$ - ($275+ USD) Rapha and Q35.6 are, of course, top of the pack.

**As of May 2022:**

**Hill Killer - $**
Hill Killer makes a lot of their jerseys (race and club fit) [available in tall](https://hillkiller.com/collections/length-tall), as well as their Performance Cycling Bib shorts and their Premium Performance Cycling Bib shorts. In tall, the jerseys add 3 inches in length and the bib shorts add 2.5" to inseam (Men's), 1.5" (Women's). I believe you can also custom order a size if they don't have it in stock.
**The Black Bibs - $**
The Black Bibs make [2 different tall sizes](https://theblackbibs.com/collections/long-shoulder-strap-bibs) for their bibs in 2 different styles, The Black Bibs Plus and the Black Bibs Ultimate. In Tall they offer 2 inches of extra strap length and 2 inches of extra inseam. In Long Strap (their second tall size version) the inseam is standard but, you guessed it, the straps are 5cm longer. If you have a longer torso, this is the only brand I have found that offers longer length straps without added inseam length. No tall/long jerseys available, however.
**Aerotech Designs - $$**
If you google tall cycling gear, Aerotech designs will always pop up. They have a lot of tall bib shorts and jerseys, including winter kit, like bib tights, and jackets, though not all of their styles are available in tall. That said, they do have a [full section devoted to tall sizes](https://www.aerotechdesigns.com/tall-man-cycling-apparel.html), which is really helpful. Tall sizes typically add 3 inches to inseam length for bib shorts and 2 inch longer straps. In jerseys, tall sizes typically add 3 inches to the body and sleeve lengths. Individual products may have different length adjustments.
**Endura - $$**
Endura makes one set of bib shorts in extra long, their [Endura Pro SL Long](https://www.endurasport.com/pro-sl-bibshort-long-leg-black/12926336.html) bib short. This short also allows you to customize the width of the chamois. The Pro SL Long is 4cm longer in the inseam. No long/tall jerseys available.
**Pactimo - $$**
Pactimo has a variety of bib shorts in long, which adds an extra 7cm grip to the bottom (vs 3cm in regular length), including the [Men's Summit Stratos "12-Hour" Bibs](https://www.pactimo.com/products/mens-summit-stratos-12-hour-bibs), [Men's Summit Raptor Bibs](https://www.pactimo.com/products/mens-summit-raptor-bibs), [Men's Ascent Vector Range Bibs](https://www.pactimo.com/products/ascent-vector-light-weight-cycling-bib-short-mens), and more. Not all bib shorts are available in long. Pactimo also details a range of different chamois styles for their bib shorts and some tall/long bibs even feature pockets. Typically their long sizes are only available in black. No tall/long jerseys available.
**Q35.6 - $$$**
Q35.6 makes one set of bib shorts in tall/long: the [Salopette Dottore X Long](https://www.q36-5.com/shop/men/cycling-clothing/bib-shorts-shorts/salopette-dottore-x-long/) (1.5cm longer straps and 2cm longer inseam) and one companion jersey in tall/long: [Jersey L1 Pinstripe X Long Black](https://www.q36-5.com/shop/men/cycling-clothing/jerseys/jersey-l1-pinstripe-x-long-black/) (2cm longer)
**Rapha - $$$**
Rapha makes one single tall/long bib, which is in their [Pro Team Bib Shorts II - Long](https://www.rapha.cc/ca/en/shop/mens-pro-team-bib-shorts-ii-long/product/PSH04LN), which is available in many of their colours. These are approximately 3cm longer than "regular" length. They do not make any tall jerseys or other kit geared towards tall riders.

I hope that tall cyclists will use these brands and kit and that as a result more companies make tall sizes (winter kit too!) because cycling is a wonderful sport and it is already hard enough finding a frame that fits. If you know of other brands that make tall sizes in bib shorts and jerseys or other pieces of cycling kit, or if you have had luck with standard sizes in some brands that you have found longer than others, please share in the comments.
