Last weekend I had my biggest ride to date - 422 miles in a single ride (no sleeping) from San Jose, CA to Los Angeles. Moving time was 31.5 hours and total time was 39 hours. My previous best distance was 225 miles so you could say this ride put me in a little over my head. Der Traum eines jeden Velofahrers und Umweltfreundlichen. Die Ölkrise in den 70ern hat auch die Schweiz damals getroffen. Ich selbst 95er Millenial oder Zoomer habe von meinen Lehrern, älteren Nachbarn und von meinem Vater Gehört. Es Gab damals in den 70ern in der Schweiz Autofreie Tage. Mein Lehrer hatte damals gesagt: „Als ich 6 Jahre alt war, war ich mit der ganzen Familie auf der autobahn mit Rollschuhen und inlines Skates unterwegs.“ Mein Älterer Nachbar: „ich war 16 konnte auf breitere Strassen mit dem Skateboard fahren“ Dann mein Vater so: „überall haben Velos die Strassen und autobahnen erobert, als der Autofreie tag kam, war es friedlich“ Meine Frage ist, ist es Möglich das auch heute in den kommenden 20er Jahren ebenso autofreie Tage kommen kann? Und gab es auch in Deutschland und Österreich autofreie tage in den 70er? Ich selbst bin auch Autofahrer aber im Herz bin ich noch immer Velofahrer ich kann ehrlich sagen Autofreie Tage/Wochen oder Monate da wären die Strassen viel friedlicher.
