If you google "5k near me" (or 10k or marathon), you're likely to find tons of results, especially if you're in a major metro area. Mass events where people sign up to run a given distance simply for the purpose of doing that distance are super common. Cycling, by contrast, feels like a much lonelier sport. Outside of true competitions (crits, etc), mass rides where you sign up and do a long distance together with hundreds of strangers are super rare. Does anyone know why this is?

So heute war mein erstes Mal. Ein Autofahrer hat mich geschlagen. Ich fuhr in einer Baustelle , er hat mich überholt. Zu eng natürlich, woraufhin ich mit den Händen wild gestikuliert habe. Er hielt an , ich hielt neben ihm und habe ihn gesagt dass er Fahrradfahrer mit ausreichend Abstand zu überholen hat... Er wollte weiterfahren, dabei bin ich wohl gegen sein Auto gekommen, was er als Sachbeschädigung interpretiert haben wollte. Er stieg aus lief auf mich zu. Ich habe versucht ihn auf Abstand halten worauf er mir ins Gesicht schlug. Mein kleiner Sohn (3j) stand daneben und wusste nicht was er machen sollte. Später konnte ich nochmal mit dem man reden aber er war immernoch total aggressive und nicht einsichtig. Die Polizei, die ich gleich nach dem Schlag angerufen hab, kam leider zu spät. Aber sie ist dann zu mir nach Hause gefahren und haben gleich eine Anzeige aufgenommen. Ich habe zum Glück 1,5 Zeugen. Ein Postboten, den ich immer gut behandelt habe (Eis und kühle Getränke), und ein Busfahrer, der aber "kein Stress" haben will und nix dazu beitragen will Danke Mitsommer ist im Arsch

Vorhin wollte ein Autofahrer ein anderes Auto das zum Linksabbiergen auf der Fahrbahn stand rechts überholen und ist dazu auf den Radfahrstreifen gefahren. Dabei hat er mich von der Straße gedrängt und ich bin an der Bordsteinkante hängen geblieben und über den Lenker gegangen. Ich war sehr langsam und mir ist nicht viel passiert. Im ersten Moment dacht ich ich hätte gar nichts. Dann ist mir aufgefallen das ich eine Schürfwunde am Knöchel habe. Aber nicht der Rede wert. Wir haben trotzdem die Polizei gerufen da es mir wichtig war, dass der Unfall erfasst wird. Bis die Polizei gekommen ist hat sich mein Adrenalinspiegel beruhigt und ich habe gemerkt, dass mein Knöchel etwas geprellt und nicht nur aufgeschürft ist und, dass ich eine leichte Prellung an der Hüfte habe. Ich wurde gefragt, ob ich einen Straf~~anzeige~~antrag wegen fahrlässiger Körperverletzung stellen möchte. Das hörte sich für mich total übertrieben an weil ich nicht dramatisch verletzt wurde. Und ich wusste auch nicht was mir das bringt diese Anzeige zu stelle. Der Autofahrer war auch sehr einsichtig und ich hatte nicht das Gefühl, dass ich ihm mit der Anzeige eine 'Lektion erteilen' müsste. Deswegen habe ich darauf verzichtet ein Anzeige zu stellen. Ich wusste bis heute nicht, dass man am Unfallort entscheiden muss ob man auf einen ~~Anzeige~~ Strafantrag verzichtet oder nicht. Jetzt frage ich mich: was muss passieren damit ich einen solchen Antrag stelle? Wenn ich schwerer verletzt werde? Wenn ja, wie schwer? Oder wenn der Autofahrer unfreundlich oder uneinsichtig ist? Oder lohnt es sich nie einen Strafantrag zu stellen? Oder sollte man das immer machen? Was denkt ihr? Und falls ihr schon mal Unfallopfer wart, wie habt ihr das gehandhabt? Ein Autofahrer hat mich geschlagen. Ich fuhr in einer Baustelle , er hat mich überholt. Zu eng natürlich, woraufhin ich mit den Händen wild gestikuliert habe. Er hielt an , ich hielt neben ihm und habe ihn gesagt dass er Fahrradfahrer mit ausreichend Abstand zu überholen hat... Er wollte weiterfahren, dabei bin ich wohl gegen sein Auto gekommen, was er als Sachbeschädigung interpretiert haben wollte. Er stieg aus lief auf mich zu. Ich habe versucht ihn auf Abstand halten worauf er mir ins Gesicht schlug. Mein kleiner Sohn (3j) stand daneben und wusste nicht was er machen sollte. Später konnte ich nochmal mit dem man reden aber er war immernoch total aggressiv und nicht einsichtig. Die Polizei, die ich gleich nach dem Schlag angerufen hab, kam leider zu spät. Aber sie ist dann zu mir nach Hause gefahren und haben gleich eine Anzeige aufgenommen. Ich habe zum Glück 1,5 Zeugen. Ein Postboten, den ich immer gut behandelt habe (Eis und kühle Getränke), und ein Busfahrer, der aber "kein Stress" haben will und nix dazu beitragen will Danke Mitsommer ist im Arsch Edit 3 : ich bin nun auf meinen Happy place, dem Rennrad unterwegs🤟, sitze auf der Bank und weiß mit welchen Menschen ich mich nicht abgeben möchte. I was just on a guitar sub where people were talking about how bad music store people are. Someone mentioned bike stores being the same. I don't recall having bad experiences in bike stores. I am about to start working for a bike company and I was wanting to get some insight into what makes buying a bike a fun experience for people. It should be fun right? What puts you off? What do you like them to do? Even though I won't be working in retail sales directly, I want to make sure I know what is important. Thanks in advance.

Fahrradtransporttasche DYI geplant

Ich möchte eine Fahrradtransporttasche basteln, um meinen Renner im ICE zu transportieren, ohne mir Gedanken über freie Reservierungsmöglichkeiten zu machen. Alle kommerziellen Angebote sind mM zu teuer, für so einen einfachen Aufwand, sodass ich mir eine ganz rustikale einfache Tasche selber nähen möchte. Angedacht ist einfache Gewebeplane aus dem Baumarkt, und ein paar Nylonbänder zum Transport. Hat jemand Erfahrungswerte? Gar Maße? Momentan überlege ich in etwa 2x2m Plane pro Bike (hab noch nix vermessen). Freue mich über weitere Vorschläge!

Serious Fahrräder, sind die OK?

Hallo liebe Freunde des Rads. Ich will mir endlich wieder ein Fahrrad zulegen, habe dabei einen relativ gutes Angebot auf [Fahrrad.de](https://Fahrrad.de) gefunden, von der Firma "Serious". Es sieht gut aus, guter Preis für die Teile, aber ich kenne die Marke nicht, und frage mich ob die nicht doch irgendwie Räder schlecht zusammen bauen oder so. Ich bin auf exact 2 Fragen auf [gutefrage.de](https://gutefrage.de) gestoßen die zu einem spezifischen Model gesagt haben "scheint OK". Nirgends etwas zu gut oder weniger gut zusammengebaute Räder. Daher meiner Frage: Hat jemand Erfahrung? Ich habe auch irgendwo gelesen, dass Serious die Hausmarke von fahrrad.de ist, also alles was auf deren Seite ist, ist eigentlich Marketing. Danke im Voraus :)
