I was hit by a car

I was leaving my neighborhood today for a ride when a car coming towards me turned left, right in front of me and I couldn’t stop in time. I smashed into the car and flew about 15 ft into a ditch. The lady got out and I must have been out for a second or two. Long story short I’m at the ER with broken bones in my hand and wrist. My neighbor called the police and the lady who hit me left the scene. The police talked to the lady at her home later and filed a crash report. She was a older woman said she thought I was ok. I was in shock. I’m out for the entire race season it looks like. I’m posting here because I’m looking for advice on what to do next… I’ve never been hit by a car before and figured folks in this community might have some advice. TL;DR- I was hit by a car on my bike and have broken bones. Police filed a crash report. What should I do next if anything?

Empfehlung für Reifen und Felgen für "Gravel-Bike"

Hallo zusammen, vorweg sollte ich sagen, dass ich mit Leib und Seele Mountainbike fahre. Ab und an steht mir neuerdings auch der Sinn nach schnellem Fahren auf Asphalt. Da es hier im Allgäu sehr hügelig ist, hatte ich mir überlegt ein Gravel-Bike anzuschaffen. Damit könnte ich dann auch mal den ein oder anderen Feldweg nehmen, damit ich nicht auf den größeren Straßen fahren muss. Ein reinrassiges Rennrad habe ich daher ausgeschlossen. Da ich auch noch ein "altes" 29" Hardtail-MTB habe, kam mir die Idee für dieses einen neuen Laufradsatz zu besorgen, so dass ich das Rad für Asphalt und Schotter nehme. Wenn nötig, sind die Laufräder auch schnell getauscht. Jetzt stellt sich mir natürlich die Frage nach einem sinnvollen Reifen und den dazu passenden Laufrädern (vor allem welche Maulweite). Ich würde das Rad dann überwiegend auf Asphalt und ggf. Feld-/Waldwegen benutzen. Daher sollte der Reifen nicht zuviel Profil haben, schnell rollen aber trotzdem einigermaßen robust.
